Workers’ Compensation Trust
Robb has been known to the Connecticut labor community and industry for over 30 years. He was an invited speaker at the 2013 Connecticut Workers Compensation Commission 100th Anniversary event. Robb is historically known for his contributions to rehabilitation as an Occupational Therapist, providing hands-on care for work-related injuries, as well as functional capacity evaluations, workstation evaluations/ergonomics, reasonable accommodation, ADA-compliant job descriptions, safe work practice programs, situational awareness, and other industry-specific consulting. Prior to joining the Trust, Robb owned and operated Wright2Work, LLC, a successful business dedicated to all things work related. Prior to that, he was one of the original employees of Industrial Health Care.
Robb maintains his Occupational Therapist credentials and stays up to date on industry developments. Robb received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Puget Sound with a Certificate in Occupational Therapy. Robb has collaborated on the Occupational Therapy Interventions textbook, specifically on the ‘work’ chapter, has lectured nationally on the topic of Functional Capacity Evaluations, and has lectured locally on topics associated with Return-to-Work efforts.
In his current role at the Trust, Robb oversees the Trust’s Utilization Review department, Nurse Case Management, Injury Prevention, and serves as an advisor, guiding complex medical matters in addition to his Return-to-Work duties.
